Aloha gang,
A few more finished pieces to come very shortly…but this is one of my favorites so far. There is a big Hawaiian guy that goes with this girl. The CTN Animation Expo is coming up this weekend so I am busy getting ready for that. Hopefully I can color up another piece beforehand.

Aloha amigos!!
Well, it has been fun putting on the last couple gallery shows, but it is time to rethink things a little. The shows have been a great experience to put together, but have taken a lot of time away from being able to create. There will be a monster show with all of the artists work so far on Dec 5th, from 5-8 p.m. at the Los Angeles Meeting Place in Culver City. From there on the site will be focused on my own work and inspirations. We will however have a “Friends of the Nomad” space for any of the artists who wish to sell prints through the site here. A big thank you to everyone who has been so supportive of my quest of freedom from “the MAN”. I hope you will continue to stop by and enjoy the work I produce, and hopefully there will be much more of it for a very long time.

The time for show number two is coming up and though it is smaller there is a nice surprise. It will be held at the Ocean Screening room in Santa Monica so we will be having a mini animated film festival to go along with the artwork.

For those not familiar with the area it is two blocks west of the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica in the same building as the Portofino restaurant. There is a lot to do in that area. Stop by the show, have dinner, and see a good movie (Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs is a good choice nudge nudge).

There will be a few other stop motion and traditional short films as well. We will start a cycle of the films every half hour and the artwork will be flanking the screen.
Artists
One of the artists showing his work unfortunately will not be at the show as he resides in Italy. His work is amazing and I would encourage any art lovers to come and support him. I am speaking of course of the incredibly talented
Claudio Acciari.

Yessireeee Nomads and Nomettes…the first show is right around the corner and we are stoked that Paul and Eric will be allowing us to raid their store for the evening.

Legend says the Nomad Boy was Peter Pan’s Younger Brother,
He learned to walk on the nose of a board and a Mermaid was his mother.
I can’t deny or verify, the truth of the legend’s claim
But I do know that he lives out the meaning of his name.
You may see the “Nomad” once or twice but never in the same place,
But where there’s surf anywhere on earth, you just might see his face.
You’ss recognize his steel blue eyes and skullmask on his head,
But you’ll surely smile at the Nomad’s style if you ever see him shred!
